Buenosaires.gob.ar is a critical government portal serving millions of citizens. The platform was running on Drupal 7, which had reached end of life, creating risks related to security, maintainability, and scalability.

The modernization effort required:

• Migrating thousands of content items without data loss

• Preserving complex taxonomies, relationships, and dependencies

• Maintaining strict accessibility standards

• Implementing the official Obelisco design system
